Where the classic toi et moi sets its stones side by side facing the same way, this design turns one in the opposite direction, so the two pears echo each other like a reflection. Each diamond is held in slender 18K gold claws and carried on an uninterrupted polished band. Available in two sizes, it is a quieter, more modern reading of a design that royalty and romantics have favoured for generations.

Diamond Sizes and Settings

The ring comes in two sizes: a pair of 0.80 ct. pear shape diamonds (1.60 ct. total) or a pair of 1.00 ct. pear shape diamonds (2.00 ct. total). The stones sit side by side in a north-south orientation, one point up and one point down. Three fine claws hold each diamond on a plain, high polished shank.

Diamond Qualities

Each size is offered in two qualities:

• G-VS2: near-colourless, with very slight inclusions invisible to the naked eye. Brilliant presence and excellent value.
• E-VVS2: colourless, with only minute inclusions. The finest colour and clarity available in this design.

Both diamonds are individually selected and matched in colour, clarity and proportion, so the pair reads as one continuous line of white.

Made by hand in Antwerp, Belgium, a city with more than five centuries of diamond cutting and trading behind it. Each claw is shaped and set by hand, with precision measured in fractions of a millimetre. A piece built for daily wear and made to be passed on.
